Due to the extraordinary interest from healthcare providers participating in the Medicare electronic health records incentive program, CMS has recently extended the attestation deadline to March 31, 2014. The previous deadline for eligible professionals to submit meaningful use data was February 28, 2014, in order to qualify for incentive payments.
Unfortunately many providers have reported having technical issues with the CMS website during the attestation process. While there is no official publication from CMS about the extension, EHR 2.0 has verified this information directly with CMS EHR incentive support center. To review current official participation dates refer to the CMS EHR Incentive Programs page.
If you are seeking additional help with meaningful use attestation and/or trying to conduct professional security risk analysis by a certified consultant, please submit your information to our customer service team to get in touch with you immediately.
