We get asked this question a lot, so let us explain.  EHR 2.0 name is inspired by Web 2.0 term coined by Tim O’Reily- A collaborative  and secure healthcare technology solutions using next generation tools to meet patient care.  And here at EHR 2.0, our initial mission is to help make compliance an enjoyable and painless experience, while building capability and confidence.

Punitha Vinayagam, HITPro, with years of experience in technology and customer requirement analysis drives content development for EHR 2.0. Punitha’s passion in research and development by referring authoritative sources including NIST, CIS and HHS helps EHR 2.0 develop and provide up-to-date and relevant best practices, checklist, policies and procedures to our health care customers.

 

Blair Jerome, PhD has worked in   public and private education for over  twenty years. Blair has designed and   taught courses for both the IT and  Pharmaceutical Industries.  As an educational administrator Blair’s experience includes working with regulatory agencies and boards at the national, regional and state level.  Blair understands how a changing  audit landscape can impact planning, budgeting, and   decision making throughout an organization.

Srini Kolathur, HITPro, CISSP,  CISA, CISM,  MBA is a result- driven leader. Srini has several years of experience in helping companies effectively comply with regulatory compliance requirements including SoX, PCI, HIPAA, etc. Srini believes and advocates best practices-based security and compliance program to achieve business objectives.

 

Asha Kamath is a business development & sales management professional with over 15 years of  experience in diverse and highly competitive markets. She has routinely sought out new avenues of growth, closed profitable sales and managed relationships with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. She believes in the consultative sales approach to provide tactical business solutions.


Thomas Jeffers (TJ)
TJ is a graduate from North Carolina State University, with a degree in Business Management. TJ is a certified Praxis teacher for a range of subjects, along with 5 out of the 6 HIT Pro exams (AHIMA). TJ has worked in public education for over 5 years, across several departments; currently specializing in education pertaining to HIT/EHR.

Alan Roth is a retired postal inspector and past representative to National Institute of Science and Technology(NIST) joint steering committee for computer forensics. Alan has assisted on search in Raleigh, NC in investigation that lead to the nation’s first felony spam trial. Alan has testified as computer forensics expert in Federal court on several occasions. Alan has conducted over 200 digital evidence examinations and on-site searches while supervising a team of forensic audio, video and computer examiners.

JohannaJoanna Wolfe, CISA, CGEIT is a self-starting, top-producing, IT and Internet professional with 15+years experience in Web and E-commerce, Information Security, IT Audit and Risk Assessment, Service Delivery, Large-Scale IT Projects and Implementations, Data Centers and Networks, in media, health care, non-profit, and other organizational verticals. As Director of Information & Integrated Media for TechMedia, Joanna is immersed daily in the disruptive technology effecting today’s IT landscape. Joanna consults for EHR2.0 and provides webinar training for HIPAA/HITECH on Social Media, Disruptive Technology and Digital & New Media.
